How to use this blog

A web log (or blog) is a website that contains dated texts (also called entries or posts) which are published in the form of a diary. Entries are shown on the blog’s main page in reverse chronological order, while an archive allows readers to browse the blog’s content by month. In addition, the categories section allows listing posts according to keywords. All posts can be tagged with one or more such keywords, for example phonetics/phonology or presentations.

Clicking on a post title will take you to a page containing only that post. It’s also possible to leave comments under posts by clicking on the Leave a comment link. Finally, a very useful features of blogs is that it is possible to subscribe to them via a web feed. Online feed readers such as Bloglines and offline applications such as Mozilla Thunderbird allow readers to keep track of a blog without having to visit the blog website.
